Jay's work ethic started at the tender age of 11, when he started out in his brother's concrete construction business. He attributes this to the backbone of his incredible physique, and it's part of the reason that he finds himself finishing at the top in many IFBB pro contests. His rigorous workouts, often lasting four hours per day during contest season, leave him in a top-notch condition that is arguably among the best on the pro circuit. His winning streak started way back in 2000 when he won the Night of champions, and it has carried on to the present day with a massive 15 first place results, including 4 Mr. Olympia titles (to 2010)

2003 was probably Cutler's most impressive year and the true start of his meteoric rise to elite status. At the beginning of the year he won three consecutive contests - the IronMan Pro Invitational, the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic and the San Francisco Pro Invitational. He finished off the year with two more victories, the English and Dutch Grand Prix while landing runner up on three occasions: Mr. Olympia, Russian Grand Prix and the GNC Show of Strength. 2003 was a very busy year; eight contests, five victories, three seconds...not bad!!!
