1988 IFBB AUSTRALASIA BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 1988 IFBB Australasia was held in Sydney – and it was a blockbuster, attracting the cream of Australia’s bodybuilders. A large crowd was in attendance with enthusiastic fans hanging from the rafters. Ian Riley walked away with top honors in the Men’s Over 90 kg Heavyweight division. His size, as well as hardness and balance and a stylish posing display, made him the male star of the show.

The Women’s Over 52kg winner, blonde bombshell, Melissa Croft, worked hard for her victory. She had good muscular size, great legs and a winning personality. In addition, Ms. International Erica Giesen, gave the appreciative audience more than their money’s worth.  She presented a sensational guest posing routine which lasted over 5 minutes.
