1988 SABBA Mr. & Ms. South Australia: Prejudging

Held on 21st August, 1988, Mr. Universe Sammy Ioannidis was the special guest poser at the evening show of this contest – seen posing at the peak of his career. Sammy was the 1986 NABBA Mr. Universe winner.

A very young Mike Buder was the novice winner. Mike was enormously popular in South Australia throughout his bodybuilding career. He had a great personality, and a superb physique to match. He later won the state title, the National title and then represented Australia at the NABBA Universe.

You will see all the best South Australian bodybuilders, men and women in every class as they pose and are compared at the Prejudging in this classic state championships event, now on DVD. The outstanding winner was STEVE TAYLOR, pictured front cover above.
