Held in Graz, Austria, the 1992 IFBB World Amateur Championships presented some wonderful new talent.
In the Heavyweight Class it was Arthur Buurman who stood out from the crowd. Then in the Light-heavy weight class it was the shredded and symmetrical Hamdullah Aykutlu of Germany edging out the more herculean looking Roland Cziurlock.
The MiddleWeight winner was the nicely conditioned Johann Schatz and the LightWeight winner was Frenchman André Charette. In the BantamWeight class the winner was the sensational young Pavel Grolmus.
