1994 NABBA Australian Bodybuilding Championships: Prejudging – Men & Women

Held in the luxurious surroundings of the Festival Theatre in Adelaide, South Australia on 28th May, 1994 this massive contest was a resounding success. The quality was simply incredible in that some of the class winners went on to win International Titles.

It goes without saying that GMV Productions was very proud indeed that the Australian National Championships were held in Adelaide – after all, it’s our home base.  It was also a source of great pride that both Tina and Wayne assisted in mounting the event, and that we can show our customers the best physiques in Australia, as well as a little of our home town.

The theatre acoustics are phenomenal, and the lighting is superb, so full justice is done to every single one of the 55 magnificent physiques.  As always, a team was selected to represent Australia at the World Championships held in Belgium two weeks later. (Note: At the Worlds, Australia kept its number one spot as the best bodybuilding nation outside of U.S.A. by taking out the Overall Women’s Physique title, the Overall Women’s Figure title, a third in the Men’s Masters and a first in the Men’s Open class.)

AND YOU CAN SEE THESE INTERNATIONAL WINNERS, competing against their peers on these two fantastic videos, battling it out in front of one of the biggest audiences ever to have supported a bodybuilding event in Australia.  And it all happened in our home city of Adelaide!

This PREJUDGING video shows you the symmetry poses of Round 1 and compulsory poses and comparisons of Round 3 for all classes.

The biggest stars included:  Grant Clemesha, George Papadopoulos, Lou Barrie, Gary Vandenberg, Don Mahoney, Lisa Egan, Tania Mittoni and Terri Roberts.

The Overall Men’s Winner was GRANT CLEMESHA of WA.
