1996 NABBA German National Championships: Men – Show

With 3 million bodybuilders, Germany is the second strongest bodybuilding country in the world after USA. Accordingly 11 classes were needed to cater for the huge number of competitors making this easily the largest number we have seen in a single contest.

Held in the famous Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt on June 1st, 1996, GMV covered this incredible event featuring 175 outstanding competitors in total.   We were not able to produce Prejudging DVDs from this event due to time constraints. The posing routines of all finalists in every class are included, plus all awards and posedowns in all classes.  

The Show finished at 2.15am after 7 and a half hours of non-stop action!! This is our first DVD featuring the BRAND NEW CLASS, – MEN’S FITNESS. It’s more aesthetic, smaller, muscular – athletic, less bulky look. Pioneered in Germany, and a first from GMV. Nothing is left out in this 145 minute super DVD.

CARLO SIC was a most outstanding winner with deeply cut abs, incredible condition, huge arms, very good legs and back and a winning smile and great stage presence.

In this DVD we introduce a very young RONNY ROCKEL as he wins class 4. Ronny has achieved great things as an IFBB Pro and many times Mr. Olympia competitor.
