Jim Stoppani received his doctorate in exercise physiology with a minor in biochemistry from the University of Connecticut. Following graduation, he served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the prestigious John B. Pierce Laboratory and Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He investigated the effects of exercise and diet on gene regulation in muscle tissue.
Shawn Perine was Editor-in-Chief of Muscle & Fitness, and held this extremely informative seminar with Jim Stoppani at the 2012 Olympia Expo. They cover a wide range of subjects regarding not only exercise physiology, but also diet and nutrition – as well as the sport of bodybuilding in general . Jim Stoppani also takes questions from the audience.
