1990 International Weightlifting Challenge

This international contest was staged in Australia on March 17th 1990 at the prestigious Adelaide Convention Centre.  It was a challenge between some of the best Olympic Lifters of Russia versus the best lifters in Australia.  The stars were Kurlovich, Khrapati, Zakharevich, Mililtosian, Kettner and Bandjak.

You will experience all of the drama and excitement of the meet as humungous poundages are put overhead with relative ease by these super-stars of the sport.  Every single lift is shown for the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

The event was jointly presented by the South Australian Institute of Sport, S.A. Weightlifting Association and the Australian Weightlifting Federation.
