2006 IFBB Australian Pro Grand Prix – Finals

LEE PRIEST was back to defend his title but a ripped RONNY ROCKEL proved the best on the day. The aesthetic German outclassed some of the biggest names in bodybuilding to seize his first Pro Victory.

There were no boos from the parochial Australian Gold Coast crowd, who were mainly gunning for PRIEST – they all could see that ROCKEL was a clear winner.

COMEBACK OF THE LEGENDS

Two great bodybuilding comebacks were also present: IFBB legends VINCE TAYLOR and FRANCIS BENFATTO. Mass monster and recent 2nd place-getter at the 2006 Arnold Classic, BRANCH WARREN, also made his first appearance in Australia.

The massive Austrian, MUSTAFA MOHAMMAD, was also present with his freaky proportions on display, to grab 4th place. This is a great line up and a classic show. There is no prejudging segment as it was not recorded by our cameraman hired for the job. Just the pure excitement of the finals show.
