1986 IFBB Women’s Qualifier: World Amateur Championships

Held in the Stadt Theatre, Ruesselsheim, Germany

6 outstanding women lined up for the judges in the symmetry round, followed by solo compulsory poses.  Next it was the call-outs and comparisons in groups of 2 or 3 women. Following this round, all 6 women presented their solo posing routines.

This was followed by a final confirmation round of compulsory poses, and then the posedown.

Four of the standout women were GUNDI FRODER, CONNY PLOESSER, RENATE HOLLAND and HILDEGARD SCHAEFER. Both Froder and Holland went on to win their respective classes at the 1986 IFBB Women’s Amateur World Championships. Schaefer placed 2nd in her class.
