The Oscar Heidenstam Foundation honours exceptional athletes and those who by their endeavour and ambassadorship serve and inspire others. The OHF Hall of Fame Dinner was held annually on the third Saturday in March, from 1992 to 2008.
See and hear the world-famous honourees, distinguished guests and the many other personalities who attended. Enjoy the tributes, speeches, presentation of awards, and memorabilia displays. There are impromptu times of entertainment with moments of agility and various strength feats from time to time.
The recipient of the 2000 OHF Hall of Fame Award was JOHN CITRONE.
John is the holder of more titles than we have room to list! His career started with his first major contest the 1964 NABBA Universe where he placed 2nd. His final contest was in 2005 when he won the NABBA Worlds Over 50 Masters Class in Brazil. Along the way he won many NABBA Universe titles and even posed down with Arnold Schwarzenegger for Overall NABBA Universe titles in the late 1960s. His contribution to NABBA and bodybuilding in general has been enormous.
The Outstanding Services to Physical Culture Award went to DAVID PROWSE, M.B.E.
The OHF Millennium Award went to JOHN GRIMEK, posthumously accepted by Mrs ANGELA GRIMEK.
The OHF Special Recognition Award went to JIM HALLIDAY.
The OHF Ambassador Award went to Miss CYNTHIA MORRISON.
The OHF Gymnastics Award went to NIK STUART, M.B.E.
The Dr Tom Temperley Award went to PETER LINDOP.
