Jurgen Brand Gallery Jurgen Brand Gallery Jurgen Brand 1953-2022 RIP We are sad to report the recent death of Jurgen Brand, Junior Mr. Germany in 1973. In 1982 he won the German Championships in the light-heavyweight class and has also represented Germany in international amateur contests. Besides being a fine athlete, he ran a successful gym in Essen for a long period of time, coached many athletes and was an mentor for a young Ralf Moeller in the late 1970s. As far as we know he suffered from Diabetes but the cause of his death has not yet been stated.
